How can I enable automatic updates for the ZEE5 app?
Ensuring you’re on the latest version of the ZEE5 App helps to ensure you’re receiving the latest updates and features from ZEE5.
The easiest way to do so is to ensure you have automatic updates enabled on your device.
To enable automatic updates, follow the below steps, in order, basis the platform that you're using:
On an Android Mobile Device
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your account icon at the top right of the screen.
- Tap My apps & games.
- Select the ZEE5 app.
- Tap the More icon
at the top right of the screen.
- Tap Enable auto-update.
On an iPhone / iPad
- Go to Settings.
- Tap App Store.
- Switch the toggle on for App Updates.
On an Apple TV
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Apps.
- Select Automatically Update Apps.
On an Amazon Fire Stick
- Go to Settings in the home menu.
- Select Applications.
- Then select App store.
- Go to Automatic updates and toggle it to On.
On a Certified Android TV
- On the home screen, go to Google Play Store.
- Go to Settings.
- Enable auto update apps.
On a Xiaomi Patchwall
- There is no update option available in Patchwall
- To get the updated ZEE5 App version, please uninstall the app and install it again.
On a Jio STB (AOSP)
- Automatic updates are enabled for all users.
On a Samsung TV
- Press Home on the remote.
- Go to Apps.
- Go to Settings.
- Turn Auto Update on.
On a LG TV
- Go to Settings.
- Select All Settings.
- Select General Settings.
- Click About This TV.
- Turn on Automatic Updates.
On a Sony CEB and Vewd
- Here, the ZEE5 app update will reflect automatically for you.
