Please note that from 01-Oct-21, RBI guidelines on recurring payments will come into effect. ZEE5 is committed to this change & we are working with the banks and payment gateways to complete the required system changes.
How does this affect a ZEE5 Premium user?
Users with non-auto renewal pack will be unaffected with this Guideline.
Considering ongoing developments around recurring payments , ZEE5 don’t want entertainment to get disrupted for users with autorenewal packs. We will not be processing recurring payments (Standing instructions) on credit or debit cards for those whose pack expires in the month of October 2021, however, we will be auto extending the packs on a complimentary basis for 30 more days.
Starting November 2021, your billing cycle will resume, and you will automatically be charged the subscription price on the next due date (Post completing extended complimentary 30 days), once the new guidelines are compliant from November onwards.
The pack extension is not applicable on recurring payments through iOS in-app users, user can continue their consumption on iOS as usual.
As a member you can either pay directly using your cards or set up a fresh recurring instruction as per the new guidelines or upgrade your pack from current to annual subscription.
