Subtitles aren't displayed on any video

Which Device/Platform are you using to watch ZEE5?

On the Mobile App

To switch subtitles on / off on the Mobile App, follow the steps below:
  1. While viewing a video, click on the video to bring up the video options.
  2. Tap the "More"  button on the top right of the video.
  3. Tap on "Subtitles" 
  4. Choose the Subtitles language you'd like to view the video in, or select "Off" to switch off Subtitles.

 Few things to note:

  1. Some videos may not have Subtitles.
  2. Subtitle language options vary for each video.
  3. Subtitles aren't available for downloaded videos.

On the Website

To switch subtitles on / off on the website, follow the steps below:

  1. While viewing a video, hover your cursor over the video.
  2. Tap the “Subtitles”  option
  3. Choose the Subtitles language you'd like to view the video in, or click "Off" to switch off Subtitles for the video.

Few things to note:

  1. Some videos may not have subtitles.
  2. Subtitle language options vary for each video.

On the Android TV / Amazon Fire TV Stick / Xiaomi TV

To switch subtitles on / off on an Android TV / Amazon Fire TV Stick / Xiaomi TV, follow the steps below:

  1. While watching a video, tap any arrow key on your remote, or the pause button to bring up the player controls.
  2. Select “Settings”  from the top right corner which looks like a wheel.
  3. Click on “Subtitles”  (If the Subtitle option is missing, Subtitles are not available for the video you're watching).
  4. Select your preferred language of Subtitles.
Few things to note:
  1. Some videos may not have subtitles.
  2. Subtitle language options vary for each video.

On any other Smart TV / Streaming Media Device

Unfortunately, Subtitles aren't available for these devices. We'll be launching this feature soon.
