Upgrade from existing Plan to Rs 1499 4K Plan
*Note - The 4K content will be visible/available only to the users subscribed to 4K Plan (1499)
Upgrade to 1499
Existing HD users can upgrade to 4K by clicking on the 4K titles >> settings menu on the player >> Resolution >> Select 4K >> Users would be directed to payment page to do the part payment and upgrade to 4K
Charging Computation (hypothetical example)
1. If a user is on a monthly plan of Rs.699 subscribed on 1st Nov 2022 on a recurring mode - consider user visits subscription page and taps on plan Rs.1499 to upgrade on 15th Nov 2022.
2. In this case user has consumed monthly pack for 15 days and there are remaining 15 days for renewal to happen.
3. If user selects a plan (Rs.1499) on 15th day - the charging will happen by negating the balance 15 days of monthly plan.
4. Here let us consider X = current active plan, Y = upgradable plan and Z = differential amount to be paid
Value of monthly plan/day = X/30 = Rs.23.30 (P)
No. of days consumed on monthly plan = P*15 = Rs. 349.50 (X1)
Balance remaining from monthly plan = X - X1 = 699 – 349.5 = 349.5 (X2)
New value Z = Y - X2 = 1499 – 349.5 = Rs.1149.5
